On October 03, FedeQuim organized an Online Session with Baker McKenzie in which the “UPDATE ON RELEVANT ISSUES IN THE WORKPLACE”
The main legislative developments for 2024 were addressed in this Session: Salary transparency and gender equality (new European Union Directive and LO 2/24, respectively), contributions for interns and displaced workers, partial retirement in the manufacturing industry, false self-employed workers, content of the LGTBIQ+ protocols. Other current issues were also discussed, such as the limitation of objective termination due to permanent disability and legislative proposals on working hours, time recording and related sanctions, and the potential impact of the rulings handed down in the United States of America on non-competition agreements and the European ruling on the system for calculating severance pay. |
